I love everything scandinavian(except maybe the food) after H.S. I moved to Denmark for a bit to spend time with my Far Mor(translation: father’s mother) when I returned to the US I decided go to school for photography.
After graduating from RIT with a BFA in photographic arts and illustration I dabbled in a few different fields only to settle down in the one I thought I never would- wedding photography. There is a bit of a stigma to wedding photographers that scared me off for a while – until I realized that I could be different. I believe human connection to be the most meaningful point in life and am so honored to be able to document these memories for real couples in love. There is such an award in creating experiences for couples. Experiences that make them fall more in love with each other and leave them with photographs they can look back on and feel for a lifetime.
